7th  Apr 2006State Conference of West Bengal concludes on a successful note. Large participation and intense deliberations were the highlights of the conference. In the open session attended by over 850 comrades CGM Kolkatta Telephones, CGM ETR, CGM ETP, CGM WTR, CGM Telecom Stores, CGM Telecom Factories, CGM Task Force addressed the gathering. The Open Session  was also addressed and attended by Com. W.Seshagiri Rao President NCOA, Com.S.L.Reddy CHQ President, Com.G.L.Jogi GS, Com. Rupak Sen AGS, Sudip De Choudhry VP, Com.Madhusudan Mahoto Jt Secretary (East), Circle Secretary BSNLEU, Crcle Secretary NFTE BSNL. The State Office bearers for the next term elected unanimously are Com.Dilip Saha President, Com.Tapas Ghosh State Secretary, Com. Sanjay Bhattacharya Treasurer.

5th  Apr 2006GS meets Sr.DDG (SR) for expediting the DPC process. It was reported that several Circles are yet to submit the CR scrutiny reports for promotion of SDEs to Adhoc STSs even though the target date was 25^th March 2006.Circle Secretaries may ensure that the reports are submitted by their Circles immediately  so as to complete the DPC by the promised date  i.e. 30^th April 2006.
